(Note this section is generalised for all items in the series - saves me writing a load of individual readmes!)

Dark Scoop's Dungeon
-----------------------------------
This item is part of the Darkscoop's dungeon series, a collection of modern dungeon equipment for use with adult, horror, sci-fi, fantasy and other similar genres. In trying to make each items as realistic as possible I decided to assemble the "props" from 3D equivalents of "real world" hardware items and very few "specialised" components.
By incorporating real world principle of adjustable mechanical pieces such as locking bolt, sliding/telescoping parts I hoped to add further realism. Consequently all the items in the series are not props but characters so they can be aticulated.
I chose to create the items in this manner for in the past I've purchased items that were props, most of which had no adjustment morphs and were limited to one type of figure (and often that was with the default body shape).
Though each of the "stock" components took time to produce, as the individual character props are able to be put together very quickly I've decided to give them away as freebies. Another factor in this decision was the fact that I have not created any textures, as I wanted a clean metallic look able to be produced in Daz studio using default shader sets. With the complexity of Poser it should be possible to do the same but I have limited experience as Daz Studio is my preferred application.
Templates are included for those that wish to texture the model.

Installation
------------
Unzip the files and copy them to your poser runtime folder or Daz studio content/runtime folder.
If the files have installed correctly you will find the item(s) in your character library under "Dark Scoops Dungeon".
Note that there are two padlocks. Padlock UD is a copy of my original model but with the origin points located centrally making it better and easier for posing. Padlock LH is similar only with a longer hasp.

Preparing to use the Dungeon Item
---------------------------------
Before you pose the dungeon item you should first of all parent a padlock to each of the restraints. Included with the files is a posable padlock that should be present in "Dark Scoops Dungeon" character library, or you can use one of your own (which was the reason I did not bother parenting my own padlocks and forcing you to use them by default.)
The composite character can then be resaved in Poser's character library. Daz Studio users will need to save the composite character as a "scene."

Using the files with figures
----------------------------------

With the amount of manual adjustments on pieces these item can be used with almost any figure. Many frames have sliding parts based on how the "real" items can be adjusted. (The fake tightening screws add to the effect).
Consequently items in Dark Scoop dungeon series will work with any Daz Female from V3 to G3F.
Shackles tend to be seperate parts from their mounts. This allows you to resize them without affect other parts of the model.
In the case of G3F a rescale of 90% for any restraints will give a "tighter fit".
Occassionally and with male figues the restraints will need a slight scaling by 10-25%.

Quick Tips And Additional Notes
-------------------------------

ERC Controls
There are actually two versions included. RD is a slight redesign I did to the rear shin supports so that they could move further forward, a necessity with shorter characters and for placing the abdo cross bar support in the right locations.
Both versions have ERC control dials located in the "CentreFrameUp" body part and these controls should be used to adjust the width, height and length of the unit. This is because many of the sections consist of upper and lower parts and you would need to eadjust each one manually to acheive the same effect.

If you need your "victim" attached to the unit then parent them to the CentreFrameUp bodypart.
Provision is made for some additional accessories which you will need to obtain separately, such as dildo, vibrators and enema bags. An enema stand is attached to both side of the frame. Normally only one of these is needed so simply hide the "body parts" that make up the other side. The same applies if you do not want to use any optional "toys".

As mentioned above these files were designed for use in Daz studio rather than poser and so texture colours may differ from D|S as they are an approximation created by a CR2 export program in D|S and consequently may need some slight adjustment.

Also mentoned is the fact that padlocks for the restraints are not part of the main model. Usually when such devices are parts of the prop there can be posing errors where a characted and/or device is tilted over but the padlocks remain thus defying gravity. Therefore I have created a seperate padlock "character" that is included with this model.

Note: Textures are basic. If you wish to work with better 3DL colours or iray then you will need to use iray shaders purchased seperately.
The square frame tubes use identical UV mapping and therefore can distort "patterned" shaders since the pattern will appear "stretched" on some parts.

Any problems contact be at the email address below. Please note I have extremely limited experience in Poser above v5 as Daz Studio is my preferred application. Also I am rather intested in how my items get used so if you use them in a render and you have the time send me a copy or a link so I can see my items in use. If you create an alternative texture set from the included template(s) please consider uploading them for free so that others can use and enjoy. This is especially easier since the appearance of sites such as ShareCG that host files for free but bare in mind that each website has restrictions on the types/subject matter of the files they will host.
